MISSION TRIPS
You can help share the love of Christ by serving on a DecAid Project mission trip traveling to partnered communities in Community Health Evangelism for establishing new CHE trainings and/or ongoing local projects.
WHAT WILL I DO ON A DECAID MISSION TRIP?
As the DecAid Project, we partner with local pastors and leaders and ask, “What does your community need to be transformed?” This shapes the way we facilitate new community CHE Trainings for their long-term projects.
Your trip will be spent participating in new CHE courses and serving alongside these incredible people to meet the needs of their communities. There are a variety of ministry opportunities with both medical and non-medical trip needs.
In all DecAid Project trips, however, relationships are the top priority; By working alongside the local leadership, our impact will last long after you return home.
WHAT CAN I DO TO PREPARE FOR A TRIP?
1) Pray about the DecAid Project Ministry.
Pray for our wholistic mission, in its relationships and impact. Then pray for how God may be leading you to serve in our shared mission. Are you to be a trip participant? An ongoing prayer supporter? A financial giver? Take this prayer time seriously.
2) Contact Us: info@decaidproject.org
Let us know so we can discuss future traveling dates. Future trips are being planned within the U.S., Cambodia, Papua New Guinea, and Haiti.
3) Consider getting CHE Trained before you travel! Those not yet CHE trained can do so through their mission trip’s training, but those pre-trained will receive greater opportunities to lead through facilitating CHE lessons and group discussions.
